Results From School Athletics Carnival Announced

Mercedes House, Overall House Champion of 2023 and Non-competitive House Champion of 2023

At a recent school assembly Ms Papazoglou, Sports Coordinator, announced the results of the school athletics carnival.

Congratulations to Mercedes House who were announced the Overall House Champion for 2023, Dobson House as the winners of the House Cheer for 2023 and Mercedes House as the winners of the non-competitive House Champion for 2023.

Non-competitive included participation in non-competitive long jump, shot put and novelty activities.

Also announced were the Overall School Champions of 2023 and the Age Champions. Congratulations to the following students:

Overall School Champions 2023

12 Years Age Champions

13 Years Age Champions

• 2nd place from Ryan - Emma D.
• 3rd place from Caritas - Clara F.

Ms Papazoglou gave a special congratulations to Annisha for her exceptional achievement in the 13-year-old discus event. Annisha broke a record that had stood since 2011, and did so by an impressive 3.74 metres.

Annisha’s incredible throw of 33.74m shows her remarkable skill and sets a new benchmark for future athletes. Well done, Annisha, on this outstanding accomplishment!
