The Catherine McAuley Tutoring Program continues this term and with final assessments on the horizon this is a great time to take advantage of its offerings!
High achieving Catherine McAuley graduates from the Class of 2023 are available to tutor current students in the library four days each week. Tutors are available to all students in the library on:
- Mondays & Wednesdays: 2:00pm - 5:00pm
- Thursdays 1:00pm - 4:00pm
The tutors are also available to Year 11 students during their supervised study periods on a Thursday afternoon.
Sara E., currently sitting the HSC, said she liked taking the opportunity to see the tutors because as ex-students who have only recently sat the HSC themselves they were able to give her current insider knowledge.
“They sat their HSC only last year so they have good knowledge from the student perspective which the teachers may not have. I have found them particularly helpful with study tips and that type of thing.” Sara found the tutors useful to her during her study periods and during lunchtime when they weren’t as busy.
The tutoring program is a free service for all students. Students do not need to book as the tutors will be available in the library during the specified times.
